Getting started

Sign in with Openference

Deyin uses OAuth 2.0 + PKCE against your Openference account. One sign-in covers the desktop app and the CLI.

Skills & slash commands

Teach Deyin reusable workflows: skills are SKILL.md directories invoked with $ or /skill-name; commands are single markdown files.

Core concepts

Subagents & hooks

Define specialized sub-agents as markdown files; wire lifecycle hooks to guard or observe every tool call.

Automations & SSH runs

Schedule agent runs locally or delegate execution to remote Linux hosts over SSH — credentials stay encrypted.

Extending Deyin

MCP servers & catalog

Connect Model Context Protocol servers over stdio, SSE, or Streamable HTTP — with a curated 26-server catalog and OAuth support.

Plugins

Bundle skills, slash commands, subagents, MCP servers, and hooks into a single installable plugin.

Architecture overview

How the Deyin monorepo fits together: branding tokens, host core, agent core, OAuth, and the apps built on them.

Privacy & telemetry

Opt-in only telemetry, local-first secrets, and exactly what leaves your device.

Deyin Code

An agentic development environment that plans, writes, and runs real changes — every diff reviewed before it lands.
